This guide gives you a baseline understanding of how common builds work on the shard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are standard templates<\/strong> \u2014 you are not expected<\/strong> to copy them perfectly. Feel free to tweak anything to match your playstyle, preferred PvP style, or the content you do most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      High Dex<\/strong> increases your swing speed.
      High Str<\/strong> increases your weapon damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Archery<\/strong> is good to have. It comes in handy in many situations. Most reliable damage source for PvM.
        Assessment<\/strong> and Tactics<\/strong> are a must have for any Warrior. It enhancesyour combat skills immensely, hit chance and damage output.
        Blade \/ Blunt \/ Piercing<\/strong> is the skill of your choice. Each of these skills have it\u2019s up sides. You can combine Poisoning <\/strong>skill with piercing type weapons for extra unexpected damage.
        Healing<\/strong> and Hiding<\/strong> are necessary.
        Magery<\/strong> one of your most used skills.
        Meditation<\/strong> and Mystic Lore<\/strong> are needed to keep your mana maxed and your spells strong. Mystic Lore<\/strong> also benfits the usage of spell scrolls.
        Resist Magic<\/strong> and Shieldfighting<\/strong> is a must to protect you from Spells and Combat Damage.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                        Assessment<\/strong>, Tatics, Weapon Skill<\/strong> and Shieldfighting<\/strong> are your core build skills.
                        Piercing <\/strong>and Poisoning <\/strong>these two work better than any other.
                        Healing<\/strong> and Hiding<\/strong> are necessary if you want to stay alive.
                        Magery<\/strong> may come in handy sometimes.
                        Tinkering<\/strong> is included specifically for Golem<\/strong> usage.
                        Resist Magic<\/strong> will help protect you from spells.
                        Stealth<\/strong> and Detection<\/strong> are usefull in house fighting.
                        This is a very \u201cin-your-face\u201d build: strong in tight spaces, weaker at long range unless you swap skills around.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                        Combinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                        Besides these standard templates, many other combinations work well \u2014 especially once you understand what each skill is doing for your role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Taming on a mage-style character:<\/strong> If you travel a lot as a hunter\/explorer, you may run into rare steeds<\/strong> or useful creatures \u2014 Taming becomes valuable naturally as you roam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
