Mining

The Mining skill is used for mining and smelting ores into ingots. The higher your Mining skill, the better the ore you can extract, and the greater your chances of successfully mining and smelting rarer ores. If you choose Mining as your starting skill, you will automatically be issued a pickaxe; however, you can also purchase one from blacksmithing and mining NPCs.

Once you have enough ore, you can attempt to smelt it into ingots by applying coal to a forge and then adding the ores to it.

It is important to note that certain ores can only be obtained by mining in specific locations on the map. Ores are obtained randomly, and the chance of mining a specific type varies by region.
