While fighting with mace weapons you will notice your attacks are slow but deal more damage on impact. While in the other hand fighting with wooden staves you will attack faster but deal less damage. Blunt weapons are often the melee weapon skill desired by open world pvpers for their fast and deadly two-handed staves.
