The Gloomwood System is a custom economy and cooperative progression feature. It integrates resource gathering, a dual-currency shop, and a server-wide community event centered around a unique NPC, The Gloomwood Druid.

Map Location
The Gloomwood Forest is located nearby Trinsic, hidden inside the mountains.

Core Mechanics
Spore Exchange (Currency Conversion)
Players can obtain Gloomspores by trading various reagents, monster parts, and special materials at the Gloomwood Merchant.
- Conversion Process: Through the merchant’s interface, players can target specific items directly within their backpacks.
- Variable Exchange Rates: The system evaluates the targeted item and instantly converts it into Gloomspores. Different materials hold different conversion values based on their rarity or difficulty to obtain.

Dual-Currency Merchant Shop
The Gloomwood Merchant offers a dynamic storefront containing exclusive items categorized into decorations, dyes, utility items, etc.
Dual-Currency Requirement: Unlike standard vendors, purchasing items from the Gloomwood Merchant requires a combination of two distinct currencies: Gloomspores and Reward Tickets. Players must gather sufficient amounts of both to acquire the shop’s rewards.

The Summoning Ritual (Global Event)
Beyond the individual shop, the Gloomwood system features a community-driven progression mechanic known as the Summoning Ritual.
Community Contributions: The merchant acts as the hub for the ritual. Players can view the server’s current progress and actively contribute their gathered materials and Gloomspores to the event.
Boss Summoning: The ritual requires a collective effort, demanding thousands of reagents and spores. Once the global contribution threshold is met by the server’s population, a formidable Boss is summoned, unlocking new combat encounters and high-tier loot opportunities for the players.

Bosses
The Gloomwood Awakening Ritual features two distinct progression paths. The boss that the server will face depends entirely on which contribution bar the community fills up first: the currency (Spores) or the raw materials (Reagents).
The Gloomspore Path

Progress toward awakening Vidua, Matron of Venom is directly fueled by the flow of Gloomspores. Whenever players interact with the Gloomwood Merchant and spend this currency, the system automatically tracks these spores toward this ritual’s milestone. Once the community reaches a total of 20.000 spent gloomspores, the ritual reaches its climax, and Vidua is summoned.
The Reagent Path

At the same time, the system monitors a second milestone focused on the sacrifice of physical resources. The community’s goal here is to accumulate 6.000 traded reagents. When this specific quota is met, the ritual takes a different form and summons either theBoneflame Wyrm or Vorak, The First Winter to challenge the server.
- If a boss is already active, the system will try to summon the other one.
- If all arenas are active, the ritual resets.
- Any excess reagents contributed during the summon will carry over and continue filling the bar after the reset.
Gate Locations
The gate to the Scorched Depths (Boneflame Wyrm) is located in Fire Dungeon Level 2.

The gate to the Frozen Barrens (Vorak, The First Winter) is located in Ice Dungeon Level 2.

The gate to The Widow’s Nest (Vidua, Matron of Venom) is located at Gloomwood Forest.

- All bosses CAN BE CONTESTED. These areas are not PvP safe.
- There is a 3-minute cooldown before you can re-enter a boss room.
- Field spells cannot be cast near these gates.
