Factions

Every Faction can be joined by talking to their leaders either in their Main Towns or in Moonglow (all leaders can be found in a Moonglow House). You can only join one faction per character, and your choice is permanent.

Chaos

Chaos is one of the two major political factions in JIMUO. Members have shadow-colored names and shadow-colored main equipment. Based in Serpent's Hold, Chaos represents criminals, murderers, and total anarchy.

Rules of Battle

Chaos is at war with Order.

Town guards will not interfere in combat between Order and Chaos.

Calling guards on an opposing faction member is prohibited.

Killing and looting opposite faction members is permitted at all times.

Non-faction players may interfere in combat, but cannot call guards during or shortly after combat.

How to Join

Requirements: 650.0 total skill points and at least 75.0 Magery skill.

NPC: Recruitment officer Fou-Lu in Serpent's Hold or Moonglow.

Command: Approach Fou-Lu and say Join.

Order

Order is one of the two major political factions in JIMUO. Members have agapite-colored names and agapite-colored main equipment. Based in New Magincia, Order represents the honorable and righteous who defend Britannia.

Rules of Battle

Order is at war with Chaos.

Town guards will not interfere in combat between Order and Chaos.

The Brotherhood

The Brotherhood is a PvP Bounty Hunter faction. Unlike Order and Chaos, it is not at war with any specific faction. Members earn points by completing bounties and fulfilling death certificates. Say rank to Charles to view your faction profile and manage your title.

How to Join

Requirements: At least 500.0 total skill points and 20 PvP Kills (killing red/PK players counts).

NPC: Charles in Cove or Moonglow.

Procedure:

Visit Charles and say join. Complete the challenge: Kill Arcadia in Vesper. Bring Arcadia's head to Charles and say challenge.

The Syndicate

The Syndicate is a Trader faction. Members gain points by completing crafting trader deeds or gathering Syndicate Contracts via Mining and Lumberjacking. Say rank to Ilnore to view your faction profile and manage your title.

Trader Deeds

Requesting Deeds: Request Carpentry or Blacksmith deeds by saying request, deed, blacksmith, or carpentry to the respective Syndicate NPCs.

Completion: Craft all 16 items within the 2-hour limit.

Reward: After 2 hours have passed, you receive 50 Syndicate Points and a gold check.

Cooldown: New deeds can be requested every 4 hours.

How to Join

Requirements: 80% Mining & 80% Blacksmithy OR 80% Lumberjacking & 80% Carpentry.

NPC: Ilnore in Minoc or Moonglow.

Command: Approach Ilnore and say join.
